“First, Chelsie brought tremendous value to Pawnee Nation by consistently exceeding quotas and meeting grant goals and objectives with precision. Chelsie understood every subject she worked in and had instincts for identifying and pursuing potential clients. Not only did she provide stellar service to existing clients, but she established a number of new community partnerships during her time at Pawnee Nation. For instance, she established the first Tribal Community Coordinated Response Team in Indian Country, a huge acquisition, and worked closely with local police departments, businesses, and schools. Chelsie has the combination of business acumen and communication skills that makes her an outstanding advocate and employee.

Second, Chelsie has a solid grasp of technical writing skills. She knew our people inside and out and helped relay technical information to community partnerships, clients, and funding agencies in an accessible way. She explained our program services clearly to clients, funders, and partners and made the most of grant writing to gain new leads and customize her proposals to funding agencies. During our time together, I observed her working compassionately, collecting data from our people, meeting her clients' immediate and long-term needs, and creating innovative ideas to meet the needs of our people. By monitoring clients’ needs across our Nation, she provided each one with personalized service to meet his/her needs. Chelsie made the most of her time with her clients to find new grants, outreach programs, provide modern solutions, and drive results.

Finally, Chelsie proved herself to be a strong cultural fit here at Pawnee Nation. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to her teammates and contribute during brainstorming sessions and meetings between the health and community services division. Chelsie led enlightening training on subjects to educate colleagues, workers, clients, and students. Chelsie also led weekly support classes outside of official events in our community. Chelsie was an active member of the Pawnee Nation team and supported her colleagues professionally and personally.”
