Ahá! Mine raye Chelsie Baldwin, Wógadho Wángwášoše, wagún dhemi, ihú, thabéta, are ki. Báxojemi min ki, Tunápi.

(Hello! My name is Chelsie Baldwin - Honest Warrior, teacher, mother, and wise. I am an Ioway Indian woman, Black Bear Clan.)

Meet Chelsie, a nonprofit leader, entrepreneur, speaker, and activist passionate about social good.

She founded CopperTop Consulting, LLC, driven by her desire to effectuate change on a global scale. As an Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska citizen, Chelsie grew up in North-Central Oklahoma Indian Country. She is a National Association of Social Work and Grant Professionals Association member. She has lent her expertise in strategic planning, project development, project design, systems and operations, partnership, and resources to various nonprofit boards, committees, and advisory councils. She has served in multiple human rights, law, policy, management, and administration positions. Her dedication to humanitarian advocacy is evident in her fierce passion for incorporating social impact and intentionality into every project she participates in. Chelsie's entrepreneurial spirit started at a young age when she began fundraising and doing business at just eight years old to support her athletic ambitions, eventually leading her to become an NCAA Division 1 athlete and international student of strategic spiritual warfare. Her extensive travels and cultural experiences have shaped her worldview of business. Chelsie holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work with a minor in Sociology from Wichita State University, which propelled her into the humanitarian business world.

(May God bless us, our families, and our homes.)

“Whatever I do, I work at it with all my heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since I know that I will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ I am serving.” (Col. 3:23-24)

Fun Facts:

  • I’m an extroverted introvert. I’m ridiculously productive and sometimes seem to work backward just because my brain is odd, but it works well in grant writing. I sometimes ask for clarification in several ways because I analyze information from all angles. As a creative professional, thinking differently is a good thing! When my brain is working its magic, I am an idea-generating powerhouse. My team and I can lead well-organized and productive meetings, manage complex projects like chess champions, and are Google masters.

  • I’m an intensely passionate person. When I get behind a cause, I will be just as geeky about your mission as you are. My mission is to change the world one non-profit, ministry, or community at a time. I love getting behind missions that will make a difference for generations! I’m a healthy Type 8 Enneagram (confident, truthful, decisive, inspiring, energetic, resilient, empowering, direct, protective, and emotionally authentic). I am a master at focusing on a specific set of skills that can be layered with expertise in a subject and use those skills to fill information gaps.

  • I can analyze the details, take actionable steps with you, and see your organization's greatest days as a visionary. I see potential, yet I know how to get there and see all the details on this massive map. I dream big, then I scale back from the future to reality to get the project going. I am not limited by constraints (thinking outside the proverbial box) and I am relentlessly curious and dive deep into researching new topics.

GALLUP CliftonStrengths:

  • Input

I crave to know more. Often I like to collect and archive all kinds of information.

  • Strategic

I create alternative ways to proceed. Faced with any given scenario, I can quickly spot the relevant patterns and issues.

  • Responsibility

I take psychological ownership of what I say I will do. I am committed to stable values such as honesty and loyalty.

  • Futuristic

I am inspired by the future and what it could be. I inspire others with their visions of the future.

  • Learner

I have a great desire to learn and want to continuously improve. In particular, the process of learning, rather than the outcome, excites me.

CLIENT TESTIMONY:

“Chelsie and I worked closely in the humanitarian field at Native Alliance Against Violence for seven years. Chelsie even served on our Tribal Coalition Board as our Region 3 Representative while she was at Pawnee Nation.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with Chelsie and came to know her as a precious asset to absolutely any team. She is honest, dependable, and incredibly hard-working. Beyond that, Chelsie is an impressive public speaker, advocate, and coordinator who is always ready to strive ahead and make strides toward a better future. She was vital in moving the domestic and sexual assault movement forward.

Her knowledge of social work and expertise in domestic and sexual abuse was a huge advantage to our entire office. She put this skillset to work to be our keynote speaker at the state capital for our annual events.

Along with her undeniable talent, Chelsie has always been an absolute joy to work with. She is a true team player, always fostering positive discussions and bringing out the best in other team members. Without a doubt, I confidently recommend Chelsie to join your team. As a dedicated and knowledgeable board member and an all-around great person, I know she will be a beneficial addition to your organization.”
